In this session we learned about the early years of animation, and discussed different styles of animation; drawing and cel animation, stop motion, claymation, paper cut outs, rotoscoping, computer animation and experimenting with scratching, sticking objects to, and painting directly onto film.
We watched several excerpts of each style and discussed how they were created.
